Altercrew

The work behind the customer: the repetitive back office tasks that have always scaled by adding people.

.The problem.

The work that grows with you, whether you want it to or not

Every growing business accumulates a layer of internal work that nobody chose. Reconciliations, data re-entry, checks that exist only because one system does not talk to another. It rarely appears in a strategy document, and it is usually the first thing to eat a headcount budget.

It is also the work people are worst at. Repetitive and rule-shaped, but punishing to get wrong, which is the combination that produces boredom and errors at the same time.

It rarely appears in a strategy document, and it is usually the first thing to eat a headcount budget.

The Head Agent

One coordinator, and one point of trust

The Head Agent manages the entire digital workforce, the way a chief of staff manages a team.

  • Monitors

    Every sub-agent's activity and performance.

  • Delegates

Tasks to the right agent for the job.

  • Communicates

    With founders, managers and employees.

  • Requests approval

    Whenever human judgment is required.

  • Controls access

To every external tool and channel.

How Altercrew works

Every task follows one governed loop

  1. 01

    Request

A person asks the Head Agent, or it notices due work itself.

  2. 02

    Delegate

The Head Agent assigns the task to the right sub-agent.

  3. 03

    Create

The sub-agent produces the deliverable: content, analysis, visuals.

  4. 04

    Review

The right human approves, rejects, or gives feedback.

  5. 05

    Publish

The Head Agent executes the approved action through connected tools.

Approved work ships. Unapproved work waits. Nothing is sent without sign-off.

What stays with a human

Judgement, exceptions, and anything that leaves the building. The agents handle the volume, and the boundary is drawn explicitly, with a named approver on the other side of it. Nobody is proposing an unsupervised workforce. The aim is that supervising one stops being a full-time job.

Specialized sub-agents

A role library for the digital workforce

Each agent with defined responsibilities, permissions and boundaries.

  • Marketing

    Campaigns and social presence.

  • Meeting

    Joins Meet: notes, minutes, interviews.

  • Onboarding

    New-hire setup, docs, first-week flow.

  • Payroll

    Runs, checks and reconciliation.

  • Finance

    Invoices, reporting, reconciliation.

  • Research

    Market and competitor insight.

  • Customer Support

    Tickets and response drafting.

  • Recruitment

    Sourcing and screening.

  • Content

    Copy, visuals, brand assets.

  • Data Analysis

    Dashboards and reporting.

  • Compliance

    Policy checks and audit prep.

  • Project Mgmt

    Tracking and coordination.

Every role operates through the same secured boundary: same policies, same approvals, same audit trail.

The execution boundary

Agents propose. Systems enforce.

Any agent

I'd like to send this email.

A proposal, never an effect

Real effect

The email sends only if every gate said yes.

Descriptions, not tools

Agents hold only descriptions of tools, never the tools themselves.

Zero calls when denied

A denied or approval-gated action makes zero external calls. A tested property, not a prompt.

Secrets never surface

Agents never see a token or password. Secrets resolve inside the runtime, microseconds before use.

Security and isolation

How the guarantees are built

  • Firecracker microVM isolation

    In build

Each agent workload runs in its own secure micro virtual machine, the same isolation technology behind AWS Lambda. Agents talk only through controlled internal channels.

  • Centralized credentials

Tokens and passwords live in a vault no agent can read. The system resolves a secret inside the isolated runtime, microseconds before the call, and never hands it to a model.

  • Tamper-evident audit chain

Every proposal, decision, approval and effect is hash-chained: alter or drop one record and the chain breaks. Who did what, why, and who approved it is always answerable.

  • Permission-based everything

Roles, scopes and operational boundaries per agent; disabled tools simply do not exist in an agent's world, so there is nothing to bypass.

Trust is structural, not promised: the agent cannot do what it shouldn't, because the code path doesn't exist.

The back office that runs itself.

A governed digital workforce, coordinated by the Head Agent, supervised by your people, auditable end to end. Altercrew is in early preview. The alpha is out and we are onboarding a small number of teams at a time.
